Try a case

A decision with no obviously right answer in it.

Every case here is one somebody actually had to make. You vote, you say why, and then you are told what it cost. Do it on your own, or put it in front of a room.

On your own

Nobody to hide behind, and no way back into a case once you have closed it. You say how much of it you want.

How many cases

Roughly 20 minutes. Four is the whole thing.

Host a session

You run it and you do not play. The screen at the front holds the case and a four digit code, and everybody else answers on their own phone.

Join a session

Somebody at the front of the room already has the code on screen. That is the whole of what you need to get in.

No account and no cookie. A room is gone the moment the session ends, and a run on your own is kept only if you say so at the end.

How a case runs

Step 1

Read a real case

Each one is a decision somebody actually has to make, with no obviously right answer in it. You vote yes or no, in private, and then say why.

Step 2

Find out what it cost

Every case turns. You are told what followed from the call you made, including the part nobody could have predicted, and then you are asked again.

Step 3

Find out how you reasoned

On your own, the Ethix Profile describes how you decided, out of your own answers, with the whole run printed underneath so you can check every word of it. In a room, the argument does that job.
